Information we collect

We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Mojiventure has no sign-up, no login, and no user accounts, and we keep no database of players. We do not collect, store, sell, rent, or share names, email addresses, precise location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no third-party tracking software in the app.

The only time information leaves your device is when you choose to buy the optional unlock, or play an online game with friends — both described below.

Information stored on your device only

So the game can remember progress, Mojiventure saves the following locally on your device only:

• The display name or nickname a player types when they start
• Scores, stars, streaks, badges, and statistics
• Postcards and destinations discovered
• Game settings and Parent Controls
• Daily-quest progress

A name or nickname is the only thing a child might type, and it never leaves the device — it is not sent to us or anyone else, and we cannot see it. All of this lives in your device's standard local storage and can be erased at any time (see "Your choices and deletion").

Playing with friends (multiplayer)

Mojiventure has optional Versus (one-on-one) and Party modes where children play together. These are code-based — a host shares a short code with friends — and never match a child with strangers.

• Same Room (in-person): the phones connect directly to each other over Bluetooth / local Wi-Fi (Apple MultipeerConnectivity / Google Nearby Connections). Nothing leaves the room; no internet or server is involved.
• Online: the phones connect through a lightweight relay that simply passes messages between players in a room. The relay does not store messages, scores, names, or accounts — it forwards them and forgets them.

In either mode the only information shared with the other players is the display name or nickname the player chose and their in-game progress (scores and round results) — the same things shown on screen. No contact info, location, or other personal information is shared.

Children's privacy (COPPA and similar laws)

Mojiventure is directed to children, and we take that seriously. Because the app does not collect any personal information — from children or adults — and transmits no personal information to us or any service we operate, it does not gather the kind of information that triggers verifiable-parental-consent requirements under the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or comparable rules elsewhere.

To keep children safe, the app also includes:

• A grown-up check (a typed math problem a young child can't solve) in front of every link that leaves the app and in front of Parent Controls.
• Parent Controls locked behind that check — including whether music-service links are allowed (off by default) and whether clips auto-play.

If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information through the app, please contact us below and we will help.

Third-party services

Some features use services run by other companies, which have their own privacy practices that we do not control:

• YouTube / Google. Mojiventure can play short clips using YouTube's privacy-enhanced embedded player (the youtube-nocookie.com domain, which sets no advertising cookies). When a clip loads, your device communicates with YouTube and Google, and Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy. A grown-up can turn clip auto-play off in Parent Controls.
• External links. With a grown-up's permission, the app can open links to YouTube or a music service (e.g., Spotify). These links are always behind the grown-up check and are off by default. Once you follow a link, that platform's privacy policy applies.
• App stores. If you downloaded Mojiventure from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store may collect information about your download and use under its own policy.

Payments and the paid unlock

Mojiventure is free to play. There is an optional one-time unlock for extra content — it is never required, and the game is fully playable without it. Nothing else is for sale, there is no subscription, and there are no loot boxes or in-game currency purchases.

We never see or store card details. Payment is handled entirely by whichever service you buy through:

• In the app — by Apple or Google through the normal App Store / Google Play purchase flow, under their own policies. Their standard parental controls, including Ask to Buy and password/Face ID confirmation, apply.
• On the website — by Stripe, which processes the payment under its own privacy policy. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded.
• RevenueCat. To remember that you have unlocked the content — and to restore it if you reinstall or change device — the app uses RevenueCat. It is given a randomly generated, anonymous ID and a record of the purchase. It is not given your name, email address, or anything that identifies you or your child, and it is not used for advertising or tracking. See its privacy policy.

Because purchases on a child's device are made through the app store, we recommend grown-ups keep purchase confirmation switched on in their device's parental settings.

Your choices and deletion

• Use Settings → Reset all progress to erase scores, stars, postcards, and badges.
• Deleting Mojiventure from your device removes all locally stored game data.

We hold no central database of users, so there is no personal data on our side to provide, correct, or delete — your data is on your device, under your control.

Security

Game data is kept in your device's standard local storage. No storage method is perfectly secure, but because we do not collect or transmit personal information to any server we operate, there is no central store of user data for us to safeguard.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy — for example, if we add features. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be reflected in an app update.
